Checked for Zoom app updates—it’s up to date. Whenever I try to use Zoom on mobile data, it just doesn’t work. I’ve been having this frustrating issue with Zoom lately, and I’m hoping someone can help me out.

It’s not showing up in our list of installed apps. Can you please open a ticket for me? It is concerning that this could happen so easily to many people, come on Zoom! And it still says it was invited by one of our internal users. So, blocking Read.AI worked if we are the ones that run the meeting.
As a free user you can only record locally. Then send the meeting audio to my local server ? I want to Create a Zoom bot to join as Online meeting Agent and record the meeting discussion and send audio to my local server. Feel free to post your issue there, you will be able to get some help there! This morning, I discovered that no recording file was created or saved.
I want the bot to join independently, not behalf of a user. @amanda-recallai If you take a look at the meeting_service_interface.h file in linux meeting sdk . This will allow you to start a meeting and join authorization-required meetings too One thing to mention is that join tokens are not authorization tokens and to join a meeting that requires login, you’d need to supply a ZAK token. I took a look and can’t find the reference to the error in the template you shared. Realtime Media Streams (RTMS) is a data pipeline that gives your app access to live audio, video, and transcript data from Zoom Meetings.
I did find it in the other meeting headless linux sample template repo though which may be what you’re referring to based on the screenshot you shared? The config.toml is updated at run time so there is no chance of the token getting expired. How to resolve this error and what I’m doing wrong here.? New devleopers are using this, but not with a free account.
Parliamo la lingua del tuo settore
With only Client ID, Client Secret, and the meeting URL I am getting error @amanda-recallai It didn’t work as in the meeting setting I have enabled “require authentication to join” option for the meeting that my bot is trying to join . My suggestion here would just be to omit any kind of join token in your config.toml, and instead just provide your Client ID, Client Secret, and the meeting URL that you want to join.
- I am having the same issue and cannot get Read.ai off my account.
- I took a look and can’t find the reference to the error in the template you shared.
- We have the same problem, never installed the app but it try to join our meetings.
- Hi @elisa.zoom , Our institution just had the same issue occur.
- This morning, I discovered that no recording file was created or saved.
- Zak token is to join a meeting on behalf of a user right.?

- I want a ticket opened for me as well to get rid of this in my account.
- One thing to mention is that join tokens are not authorization tokens and to join a meeting that requires login, you’d need to supply a ZAK token.
- I am using Zoom’s free(basic) account, Whether it is possible to Create an Online meeting Agent using Zoom API’s and record the Meeting discussion of participants.
- Hello, we are having the same issue.
- I just wanted to update this thread since I had a helpful and insightful conversation with @alison from Read’s team about this issue.
Will I be able to get the AI call Summaries if i do an Oauth 2.0 S2S request before and get the token? I can share with the team to request adding to product roadmap. And would like to request a simple way to access the AI call summary from the callId alone, rather than relying on userId. Would appreciate any insight into whether this functionality is available now or potentially on the roadmap. If step 1 is completed but step 2 has not yet finished connecting to the media server, and the host ends the session during this time, it results in a JOIN_MEETING_FAILED error.
I just wanted to update this thread since I had a helpful and insightful conversation with @alison from Read’s team about this issue. Read.ai has appeared in multiple of our meetings and I am being forced to manually deny it. We have the same problem, never installed the app but it try to join our meetings. Can you please create a support ticket for me as well? But somehow this bot is showing up if we are invited to a zoom meeting by an external zoom account. For your bot to join a meeting with this setting, you must use a ZAK token alongside the JWT, not just the Client ID, Client Secret, and meeting URL.
Hi @elisa.zoom , our organization has the same issue – can you please assist in completely removing read.ai and blocking it to all users of account? Hopefully there is a better fix than creating an individual support ticket for each case as this is clearly an issue for many users. The app was never installed in our org’s Zoom account but it is showing up in countless meetings.
This is a huge issue for us as we have intentionally disabled transcripts for the related meetings and have major security concerns with an unapproved ai monitoring the meetings. Did this problem get resolved, as I am continually fed up with read.ai hijacking my meetings and overriding my zoom recordings How do I get rid of it? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated—I really need Zoom to work on mobile data for my meetings on the go. You’re correct that the ZAK token is required to join a meeting on behalf of a user, but it’s actually not needed if you just want the bot to join on its own. Zak token is to join a meeting on behalf of a user right.? When call client.join(meetingId, token, userName, passcode) will create new meeting session instead.
Remove "Read AI" from account
I am using Zoom’s free(basic) account, Whether it is possible to Create an Online meeting Agent using Zoom API’s and record the Meeting discussion of participants. I am having the same issue for the exception it is not showing up in my apps I am trying to remove this app from my Zoom account, but am struggling to find the “Apps on Account” tab/page. Read.ai joins private meetings that are not recorded due to security and privacy reasons. Yes you can use it with S2S OAuth apps after adding the admin scope. We’re aiming to avoid user-context tokens where possible for backend automation.
The seminar ran through the night, so I set Zoom to record so I could review it in the morning. Hey @Valentina are you still running into this issue? Hi,Please help me remove Read.ai from my account.

I want a ticket opened for me as well to get rid of this in my account. I also don’t have the app felicebet in my Zoom settings. I never signed up with Read.ai so I can’t go to that account to disable it. I am having the same issue and cannot get Read.ai off my account. Made sure my mobile data is turned on and working (other apps like YouTube and Instagram work fine). In contrast, The ZAK token is necessary to join as an authenticated user, especially when mandatory login is enforced
It can be accessed via admin and user-auth app. Read.ai is not listed in our downloaded apps but is making its way into nearly every meeting and causing concerns about privacy and legality. Hi @elisa.zoom , Our institution just had the same issue occur. Can a ticket be created for me as well? I’ve read through this disturbing thread and realize that we can’t figure out how to get rid of it, either.
